Stand and Fight

It time to take back our Union. Many members are concerned and outraged by the actions of our own elected officers who have become nothing more than Lackys for the Empire Council. If these ELECTED officials do not do as they are told they they can be fired and our local can be stolen like the scam they pulled on Local 229. No matter what lies people like Kevin Hicks tells you, Phil Allen was fired because he refused to sit by and let the Empire Council screw his Millwrights and FORCE then into 1163. Local 229 was seized and put under Trusteeship which was ended in December of 2003 after the required 18 months ran out. The Local was bled of its assets and merged with 370. Regardless of what lies you were told at the allocation dictation Local 229 has been merged since December 2003 as required by LAW. It is also interesting to try to find the LMs that are required by LAW to be filed with a trusteeship. If our members would spend a little time and have a look at the scam perpetuated against Local 229 then you would have a glimpse of what the Empire Council is really all about. This is the kind of thing "Cash McCarron" has in store the UBC. So much for a Democratic Brotherhood. McCarrons call to organize is a front to hide the true intentions of the UBC which is to consolidate the assets of Locals into Councils so that the International has more control and faster flow of the cash up to the International,destroy the Democratic structure of our Unions by imposing a tiered management system on the UBC and seperating from the AFL CIO to avoid AFL CIO by laws which would prevent him from raiding the work of other trades and being able to FORCE Locals into councils.

I have spent the last year collecting evidence and information on the Empire Council,the International and the Officers of our Local 370. I have arranged legal Council and am prepared to sue Local 370, The Empire Council and the International if they refuse to comply with our DEMANDS to STOP the RAPE of our Locals and the extortion of our fellow Brother Carpenters. We are not alone and we are organized. It is time to stand up and fight. The time is NOW. We DO NOT Have sit back and have have our Union rights and our hard earned money stolen by Council Lap dogs and Empire Council Carpetbaggers whos only interest is filling their own pockets and filling the coffers of the Empire Council
